Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982, in Jamshedpur, Bihar (now Jharkhand), to both Indian Army physicians Ashok and Madhu Chopra. [4] []] His father was a Punjabi Hindu from Ambala. He said,  My father was in the army and was stationed there. I lived in Leah for a year and my memories of that place are strong. ... We were all army children there. We weren't living in homes, we were in bunkers in the valley and there was a stop at a hill top that overlooked our valley. Top ".
